When we go hiking, I like to look at all the rocks and think about how they formed to be like how they are. I also like it when it is dark outside so I can drink hot cocoa and play board games with my family. I think hammocks are nice to lay down in and read books, especially when it is warm out. Playing video games is one of my favorite things to do, and when I play with my family, it makes it even more fun.
I like my family’s camper because we hand-built almost the whole thing, and I got to choose some of the things added to it. My bunk has a good amount of space in it and has a curtain, plus a light! I like my mother’s and father’s bed because you can extend it to be almost twice it’s size so both of them can sleep in it. It was fun to see how the bed was made. The carpet in the hallway blocks noise from when someone gets out of their bunk. With the hand-made part of the camper, it makes it easy to set up and tear down. The kitchen is nice and compact in the back of the camper, and stores a lot of food and tools.
The first stop we went to was in a small ravine, so it had mountains on both sides which blocked the wifi from coming in. There were lots of trees to hang our hammocks in and I hung mine by the Pecos River which was next to one of the mountains.
